About the role

Inversion Space Company is hiring an Avionics Harness Engineer II to own wire harness design and electrical systems integration for its reentry vehicle programs, from conceptual design through qualification and production. The role reports to the Director of Engineering, Avionics, and covers component selection, process development, wiring diagram creation, 3D harness routing in CAD, technical documentation, design review presentations, and close collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering and manufacturing teams. Requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering, 2-3 years of harness design/electrical systems/manufacturing experience, proficiency in 3D CAD (NX, CATIA, or SolidWorks), wire gauge and voltage drop calculation knowledge, and the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret/Top Secret clearance. Requires in-office presence and U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency due to ITAR.
