DPhil studentship in Organic Synthetic Chemistry and Functional Materials, Department of Chemistry, University of Oxford, supervised by Professor Paul McGonigal, project "Dynamic Processes in Organic Functional Materials." The group investigates dynamic covalent and noncovalent bonding in strained molecules and aromatic cations for organic materials applications, including recent work on ionic conductivity, shapeshifting molecules, and dynamic stereochemistry. 3.5-year studentship starting 1 October 2027, stipend at the UK Research Council rate, course fees covered at the Home rate, open to UK, EU and international students with a first-class or strong upper-second undergraduate degree in Chemistry or a related discipline.
