About the role

Postdoctoral Research Assistant in the Department of Physics, University of Oxford, on the EPSRC-funded project 'Perfecting Halide Perovskites: From Precursor Ink Chemistry to Defect Control.' The role involves fabricating perovskite thin-films via solution and vapor processing, performing high-resolution electron microscopy and electron diffraction analysis of nanoscale structure and composition, and correlating results with bulk structural, compositional, and optoelectronic measurements to assess material stability in optoelectronic devices. Requires a PhD (or near completion) in physics, materials science, chemistry, or engineering, with strong expertise in high-resolution electron microscopy; experience with EDX/EELS, GIWAXS/GISAXS, metal halide perovskites, or cryo-EM sample prep is desirable. Based in Oxford; teaching opportunities available.
