About the role

Open-ended Research Associate/Fellow post (with two years of confirmed funding) in the School of Physics' Centre for Device Thermography and Reliability (CDTR) at the University of Bristol. Focus is on wide/ultra-wide bandgap semiconductor materials and devices (GaN, Ga2O3, SiC, diamond) for power and RF electronics: designing, fabricating and characterizing devices in the cleanroom, developing TCAD models, managing the thermal characterization lab, supervising PhD students, and supporting industrial contracts. Requires a PhD or equivalent experience in semiconductor device processing.
